Concerts where Debussy appeared as a pianist

Here is a list of public concerts, where Debussy appeared as a pianist. It is compiled from several different sources, and is quite complete. Debussy also appeared as a conductor on several concerts, especially late in life, but these are not included. Debussy was born August 22 1862, studied at the Paris conservatory from 1872 to 1884, and died from cancer March 25, 1918.

July, 1878 Piano competition at the Paris conservatory. Carl Maria von Weber: sonate no. 2 A flat major, 1st movement.
July, 1879 Piano competition at the Paris conservatory. Frederic Chopin: Allegro de concert, opus 46.
December, 1881 Plays in the newly opened Cabaret Chat Noir.
May 12, 1882 A concert together with Mme Vasnier. Some of his own works: "Nocturne" for piano, "Scherzo" for fiolin and piano, and two songs: "Les roses" and "Fête galante".
1884 Prix de Rome 1884: L'Enfant Prodigue. The work was performed with singers, and Debussy and his friend René Chansarel playing the orchestra part on piano.
March 1, 1889 A Paris music salon Petit Suite played by Debussy and Jacques Durand
May 6, 1893 A lecture on Wagner Ring des Nibelungen by Mendés Debussy and Raoul Pugno plays music examples, together with 6 singers
January 20, 1894 Société Nationale', A piano duett by Rimsky-Korsakov: Capriccio Espagnol.
February 7, 1894 Société Nationale. Debussy accompanies Mlle Thérèse Roger in two songs, De Fleurs og De Soir.
February 1, 1896 Société Nationale. Pianist in the work Quatour Inachevé by Lekeu.

May 25, 1910 Société Musicale Indépendante Danseuses de Delphes, Voiles, La Cathédrale engloutie, and La Danse de Puck.
March 25, 1911 Cercle Musical Concducts some orchestral works, and accompanies some of his own songs.
March 29, 1911 Concerts Durand, Salle Erard Les Sons et les Parfums, Le Vent dans la plaine, Des Pas sur la neige, and Minstrels.
March 5, 1912 Concerts Durand Accompanies Maggie Teyte. (March 12 according to Orenstein p. 67n)

February 5, 1914 Plays together with the violinist A. Hartmann: Grieg violin sonata, transcriptions of Il pleure dans mon cæur, La Fille aux cheveux de lin, and Minstrels.
March 1, 1914 Concert i Amsterdam dedicated to Debussy. Debussy conducts the Concertgebouw, and also plays some piano préludes: Danseuses de Delphes, La fille aux cheveux de lin, and La puerta del vino.
March 21, 1914 Salle Gaveau Accompanies Ninon Vallin in Trois Poémes de Mallarmé, and plays Children's Corner, and three préludes: Feuilles mortes, La Cathédrale engloutie, La Fille aux cheveux de lin.
May 1914 A charity concert together with Marguerite Long. Debussy accompanies Rose Féart in a couple of songs.
December 21, 1916 A war charity concert. Accompanies Rose Féart, and plays En blanc et noir together with Roger Ducasse.
March 24, 1917 Joseph Salmon and Debussy give the first performance of the cello sonata
May 5, 1917 Salle Gaveau Debussy accompanies Rose Féart, and Gaston Poulet and Debussy give the first performance of the violin sonata.
September 1917 Concert in Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Gaston Poulet and Debussy play the violin sonata.
