This composition is based on analysis of birdsong. The birdsong was analysed at four different speeds and transcribed. It is fascinating how many details there are in the birdsong when it is played back slowly - details that you can't notice at full speed and at the high register.
The birdsong is in the piece scrutinized and looked at under a magnifying glass, each turn larger and finally ending with a "giant bird".
